Daisy - The "purebred mongrel" family pet on the domestic sitcom BLONDIE/NBC/1957/CBS/1968-69. Daisy lived with Dagwood Bumstead, a bumbling accident-prone architect; his level-headed wife Blondie; and their two children Alexander "Baby Dumpling" and Cookie. Their dog was usually seen lying around the house or following one of the Bumsteads from room to room. Daisy first appeared in the Blondie comic strip created by Murat "Chic" Young in the 1930s. She also appeared in a series of Harvey Publications comic book Daisy and Her Pups from 1951-55.
