Ren the DogRen the dog - The tiny, lovable but neurotic asthma-hound Chihuahua partner of Stimpy, a dumb, portly, and overly optimistic cat on the cartoon adventures of THE REN & STIMPY SHOW aired on the cable network NICKELODEON in the 1990s. Ren lives at apartment #317 in Toecheese, Illinois. The often volatile Ren can be heard criticizing his partner Stimpy with such phrase as "You eeediot!"; I will keel you, Stimpy"; I'll feex you! I'll feex you good!; and "Oh boy, are yooou gonna suffer!" Once described as "Abbott & Costello meets Salvador Dali at Pee Wee Herman's Playhouse," this dysfunctional duo hosted cartoon episodes filled with explosions, nose-picking, barfing up, as well as sendups and parodies of such TV series as Star Trek. Their theme song was "Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy." Ren & Stimpy were created by John Kricfalusi.  See also CATS: Stimpy the Cat'
