White Shadow - White German shepherd dog starring on the rural adventure CORKY AND THE WHITE SHADOW/ABC/1956. White Shadow (played by Chinook) was the canine companion of a pretty teenage girl called Corky Brady (Darlene Gillespie) who lived in the small town of Beaumont with her father, sheriff Matt Brady (Buddy Ebsen). When a bank robber named Durango Dude (Rayford Barnes) escaped from the custody of the Waterford town jail, Corky and her dog pursued the runaway felon. As she reminded her father "Me and Shadow got a nose for ferreting out lawbreakers."
