Barkley - Large brown and white shaggy muppet dog first seen in 1978 on the children's program SESAME STREET/PBS/1969+. Barkley was the pet dog of Linda Bove, the deaf librarian working in the magical neighborhood of Sesame Street. Another Barkley, a Jack Russell Terrier appeared on the sitcom FULL HOUSE/ABC/1987-95 and in the feature film Clean Slate (1994) starring Dana Carvey.
