Thimble - Black terrier on the British
drama series UPSTAIRS, DOWNSTAIRS/LWT/1970-75.
Thimble was given to Miss Alice Bellamy to ease
the pain of separation from her brother William
when he went off to school in the spring of
1922.
Ms. Treadwell, the family's stern governess once tried to
dispose of Thimble. Consequently, the dog was rescued and
hidden in the garage.
