Geraldine DollFlip Wilson DollFlip Wilson Dolls - Cloth doll merchandised by MIB in 1971 with a cute cartoon image of the Flip Wilson's character Geraldine on one side and a cartoon image of comedian Flip Wilson on the other. Pull the string and each one would take turns saying something like "The Devil made me do it!" The Geraldine image, the sassy blonde vixen with a boyfriend named Killer, wore a dress, yellow shoes and an orange shoulder purse (with the word "Geradline" on the purse flap). The Flip Wilson side of the doll featured Flip dressed in a purple and blue vertically-striped jacket, yellow shirt and orange green-polka dot tie. Comedian Flip Wilson was the first black celebrity to host his own variety program, namely THE FLIP WILSON SHOW/NBC/1970-74.
