Lamont - Pet goldfish of
five-year-old Rudy Huxtable (Keisha Knight Pulliam) on the
situation comedy THE COSBY SHOW/1984-92.
Rudy's Goldfish Lamont about to be
flushed
On episode No. 2 "Goodbye, Mr. Fish" Rudy's goldfish dies. To
quell her sadness, Rudy's father Dr. Cliff Huxtable (Bill Cosby)
arranges an elaborate funeral with all the family (dressed in
formal attire) that culminates in the upstairs toilet.

We're here to say goodbye to a cherished
friend: Lamont, the goldfish. |

I've always felt safe with him around. |
Ironically, half-way through the funeral service, Rudy gets
bored and wants to leave and watch television. In the end,
Lamont's remains are sent on a final magical mystery tour down
the toilet bowl to fishy heaven.
