Oscar Mayer Bologny Kid -
Sporting a halo of brown curly hair, four-year-old child actor
Andy Lambros starred in the classic Oscar Mayer commercial
entitled "Fisherman."

The TV spot had the little boy holding a small fishing rod in
his right hand, a bologna sandwich in his left, and singing the
jingle:
My bologny has a first name, its O-S-C-A-R
My bologny has a second name its M-A-Y-E-R
Oh! I love to eat it every day
And if you ask me, I'll say
'Cause Oscar Mayer has a way with B-O-L-O-G-N-A
As the commercial's ends the boy stops singing and says "How's
that?" and takes a bite out of his sandwich. The ad campaign was
created by J. Walter Thompson in 1975. In later years Andy
Lambros opened an exotic pet store in Woodland Hills,
California; and ran CyberWeb and AnimalWeb, two Internet-based
company.
An earlier Oscar Mayer campaign introduced on radio in 1963 and
later on a 1965 animated cartoon contained the lyrics:
Oh, I love to be an Oscar Mayer wiener
That is what I'd Truly like to be
'Cause if I were an Oscar Mayer wiener
Ev'ryone would be in love with me!
In 1968, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra performed the tune in a
commercial that ended with a little boy clapping at the
orchestra's performance and then taking a bite out of a wiener.
An announcer closed by saying "The Oscar Mayer wiener--a
classic."
