hosted by Mag Ruffman, a former licensed contractor turned Canadian home

change a man, but you can always freshen up a furnace filter" and "You can
pay big money for a self-esteem seminar, or you can buy yourself a cordless
drill. I recommend the drill."
Each show (52 episodes) contains witty titles like "Shelf Improvement"
(building a pine book shelf), "A Friend in Feed' (Bird feeders) and "All's
Weld That End's Weld" (Welding tips). The fun thing about this
Gemini-nominated workshop series is that all of Mag's mistakes are left in
the show.

Note: Back in the 1990s, how-to guru Ron Hazelton starred on the
show "House Doctor" (and later on "House Calls") in which he personally
visited people who needed home repair work and fixed the problems on site.
