is hosted by Mag Ruffman, a former licensed contractor turned Canadian
home improvement show host. Her philosophy is "it's perfectly
natural to make mistakes", "A woman can do anything with the
right tools", "You can't change a man, but you can always
freshen up a furnace filter" and “You can pay big money for a
self-esteem seminar, or you can buy yourself a cordless drill. I
recommend the drill.”
Each show (52 episodes) contains witty titles
like "Shelf Improvement" (building a pine book shelf), "A Friend in
Feed' (Bird feeders) and "All's Weld That End's Weld" (Welding tips).
The fun thing about this Gemini-nominated workshop series is that all
of Mag's mistakes are left in the show.
