Falcon Crest Winery - Fictional Tuscany Valley winery
located in the Napa Valley region outside San Francisco on the serial drama
FALCON CREST/CBS/1981-1990.

Angela Channing (Jane Wyman) was the iron-willed mistress of the Falcon Crest
winery who manipulated anyone in her path who dared to challenge her control of the
northern California vineyard.
After nine years of deals, deceit, and treachery, the series finale found
Angela's son Richard Channing (David Selby) married to Lauren Daniels (Wendy
Phillips) and control of Falcon Crest returned to Angela if she agreed to
relinquish fifty percent control of the vineyard to Richard's sons upon her
death; and if the other fifty percent went to Angela's son-in-law Lance Cumson
(Lorenzo Lamas). In the final scene, we see the face of Angela floating over the
vineyards offering the toast "The Land Endures."
While most of the location shooting for the series was filmed in Hollywood, a
lot of the background footage was filmed in the real California wine country
including the towns of Napa, Yountville, Rutherford and St. Helena.
In 1992, The Spring Mountain Winery, the main winery seen on the series as
Falcon Crest marketed two wines with the "Falcon Crest" label. The house seen as
the residence of Richard Channing was located at Altamura Valley Winery in Napa.
The stained-glass-windowed barrel house seen on the series was located in the
Napa Valley on the grounds of the Inglenook Vineyards at 1991 Street along St.
Helena Highway in Rutherford, California.
