Prince Rapses - Egyptian Pharaoh Prince whose
spirit was reincarnated on the 30-minute animated series MUMMIES ALIVE!/SYN/1997.

Rapses Pharaoh Prince
The cartoon follows four Egyptian mummies who were entombed in 1525 B.C and then
return to life in modern day San Francisco. Why come back to live after such a
long sleep? To protect a 12-year-old boy named Presley Carnovan (Bill Switzer)
who possessed the reincarnated spirit of Prince Rapses, an ancient Egyptian
pharoah who knows the secret to eternal life.
The Mummies chief nemesis is the
reincarnated Scarab (Graeme Kingston), an evil sorcerer who originally killed
the Prince and his four warrior guardians Ja-Kal (Dale WiIson); Rath (Scott
McNeil); Armon (Graeme Kingston); and Nefer-tina (Cree Summers).
Originally,
when Rapses father, Amenhotep learned of Scarab's treachery, he imprisoned him
in a tomb... alive! Scarab remained locked inside the dark tomb for 3500 years
until an archaeologist named Harris Stone released him.
Taking Stone's identity
and amassing a great fortune, Scarab now in the possession of the immortality
stone set out to find the soul of Prince Rapses, whose spirit was the key to the
Stone's power.
Luckily, as Scarab was about to capture Presley Carnovan, the
four Egyptian mummies once killed by Scarab came to life, cried "With the
Strength of Ra!" and once again took up their responsibility of protecting the
Prince, embodied in the form of Presley.

Presley & His Mummy Warrior Protectors
When ready for battle, the newly
resurrected mummies transformed into their individual fighting armor.
- Ja-Kal,
the leader of the Mummies, wears falcon-like armor, shoots flaming arrows with
his bow and can fly (Ja-Kal once had a wife, Tia and young son, Padjet).

vehicles which he built.
- Armon, who has a hearty appetite, is missing a right
arm which he lost fighting in the Pharoah's army. His armor resembles a ram and
grows a golden right arm in the transformation.
- Nefer-Tina, the group's only
female, uses a whip as a weapon. Her armor resemble a cat.
The Mummies' sidekick
is a sacred female cat named Kahti once owned by Prince Rapses. It can transform
into a powerful fighting feline.

Mummies Alive! Theme Song Lyrics
A little boy named Presley
found a secret out this year
that he was once a Pharaoh
when Egyptians ruled the world
and now some sorcerer named Scarab
tries to get him day and night
but Presley has four guardians
to protect his very life.
Chorus:
He has the Mummies.
From 1525 B.C.
He has the Mummies.
Protection for the new Rapses.
He has the Mummies.
They're hanging by the 'Frisco Bay.
He has the Mummies.
Protectors of the world today.
So Mu-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh
He has the Mummies.
From 1525 B.C.
He has the Mummies.
Protection for the Pharaoh teen.
He has the Mummies.
They're hanging by the Western Gate.
He has the Mummies.
They're going to save the world today.
The Egyptian way.
They're Mummies Alive!
