Amanda Tucker - Apprentice witch (Catherine Hicks)
who uses her clairvoyant skills and supernatural spells (which sometimes went
awry) to help solve crimes on the detective drama TUCKER'S WITCH/CBS/1982-83.

Amanda and her detective husband, Rick Tucker (Tim Matheson) live on a farm in
Laurel Canyon in Los Angeles with a Himalayan cat named Dickens (with whom
Amanda communicates telepathically) and a goat named Myra.
Together, the Tucker's operate the Tucker & Tucker, Inc. detective agency. Their
business office (555-6111) is located on 7000 Vista Del Mar Drive in Los
Angeles. Marcia Fulbright is the firm's secretary. Amanda's mobile car phone
number is 555-8734. Her home phone is 555-4616. The Tucker's first case involved
the high-rise elevator murders of three women of which Amanda saw in her dreams.
Amanda's mother, Ellen Hobbes, who lives with Amanda on her farm, occasionally
helped out her daughter on a case. Although Ellen was born into a family of
witches, she is not a witch herself because such powers skip every tenth
generation. Her daughter, Amanda, however was the first in the next cycle, so
she inherited the abilities of a witch. Abilities that Amanda had not yet
perfected.
