featured on the cartoon series ROCKY AND HIS FRIENDS/ABC/1959-61 &
NBC/1964-73.
Soldier protects a storehouse of
Upsidaisium for the US Government
Upsidasium was discovered by Dewlop D. Moose, the uncle
of moronic Bullwinkle J. Moose who inherited a floating mountain
called Mt. Flatten, located the US Southwest.
Rocket J. "Hokey Smokes" Squirrel and Bullwinkle protected the
Upsidaisium mine from falling into the hands of Pottsylvanian spies
Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale (in the guise of Mojave Max and
Death Valley Dotty) who sought to use it for their
nefarious scheme of world domination.
TRIVIA NOTE: A similar
anti-gravity material named "Cavorite (developed by scientist, Dr.
Cavor) appeared in the 1901 Jules Verne science fiction novel "The
First Men in the Moon." In the 1990s, there was an Australian rock band
