Three Haircuts, The - Rock and Roll
trio featured on the comedy variety program CAESAR'S
HOUR/NBC/1954-57.

Carl Reiner, Sid Caesar and Howard
Morris
In a lighthearted attempt to spoof the current musical tastes of
the time, comedian regulars Sid Caesar, Carl Reiner and Howard
Morris donned dark pants, light-colored dinner jackets, string ties
and wigs with oversized pompadours to become "The Three Haircuts."
The groups latest hit was "You Are So Rare To Me."
It was recorded at a party the night before for Lipstick Records.
They were accompanied by Joe Reisman and his Orchestra.
"You are so rare to me
So very rare to me
So if I'm rare to you
Won't you be rare.
So honey won't you be rare to me"
The flip
side of their record was "Flippin' Over You."
