The Partridge Family - The Pop Rock and Roll band on the sitcom THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY/ABC/1970-74 consisted of the lead vocalist Shirley Partridge (Shirley Jones) a southern California widowed housewife and her five children including teenagers, Keith (David Cassidy); Laurie (Susan Dey); and youngsters Danny (Danny Bonaduce), a freckled 10-year-old con artist; Christopher (Jeremy Gelbwaks/Brian Forster), her seven-year-old son; and Tracy (Suzanne Crough), her five-year-old daughter. During the 1973-74 season Ricky Stevens (Ricky Segall), a four-year-old neighborhood child joined the group. The Partridge Family band traveled to their gigs in a multi-colored school bus. David Madden played Reuben Kinkaid, the group's manager. An animated spin-off THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY, 2200 A.D. was broadcast on ABC from 1974-75. See also BUSES: "The Partridge Family Bus"
