Sugar - Group of California rock and rollers
on the situation comedy SUGAR TIME!/ABC/1977-78.
Sugar consisted of three aspiring female rockers: Maxx (Barbie Benton), a
hatcheck girl; Maggie (Marianne Black), a dental hygienist; and Diane (Didi
Carr), a dance instructor.
The girls performed for free at the Tryout Room a Los Angeles night spot
owned by Al Marks (Wynn Irwin).
