McMillan & Wife - The police drama MCMILLAN & WIFE/NBC/1971-77 followed the exploits of San
Francisco Police Commissioner Stewart McMillan (Rock Hudson) as he juggled his
police responsibilities and his home life with his wife, Sally (Susan Saint
James). John Shuck costarred as Sgt. Charles Enright, the Commissioner's right
hand man.
After Sally McMillan died in a plane crash, Enright got promoted to
Lieutenant and a new assistant named Sgt. Steve DiMaggio (Richard Gilliland)
came on board to help McMillan.
