"Bats" are not "Rodents."
This statement is accurate, but I have placed
"Bats" in this section because bats resemble
mice or rats.
For example, here is a 2002
example from the popular culture that references
the character Batman.

it dressed as a giant flying rodent." -

According to Webster's New Work Dictionary a bat
is defined as a "mouse-like flying mammals with
furry body." So consider "Bats" as part of "& other
furry-like critters."
"Rabbits" also are not rodents (lagomorphs -
more related to horses because of their
digestive process) but still fall under the "&
other furry-like critters" category. |
