Voyager - A 24th century spacecraft launched in A.D. 2371 on the sci-fi adventure STAR TREK VOYAGER/UPN/1995-2001. The Voyager (Registration No. NCC-74656) was an Intrepid Class starship with 15 decks and a crew complement of 141 plus one emergency holographic physician programmed as a short term emergency supplement and capable of treating any injury or disease. The Voyager's internal design featured bioneural circuitry where some of the traditional circuits have been replaced by gel packs that contained bioneural cells that organized information more efficiently and sped up response time. In the premiere episode while searching for a renegade group called the Marguis, the Voyager was dragged 70,000 light years to the other side of the galaxy. Even with the ship's sustainable cruise velocity of warp factor 9.975 the ship's Captain and crew (now also comprised of marooned Marguis rebels) were faced with the reality that it would take years to get back to Federation space and the relative safety of the Alpha Quadrant. Crew members included Kate Mulgrew as Captain. Kathryn Janeway; Robert Beltran as First Officer Chakotay; Tim Russ as Security Chief Tuvok; Ethan Phillips as chef and moral officer Neelix; Roxann Biggs-Dawson as Chief Engineer B'Elanna Torres; Jennifer Lien as physician assistant, Kes; Robert Duncan McNeill as Lt. Tom Paris; Garrett Wang as Ensign Harry Kim; Robert Picardo as EMH-1 Holographic physician, Doc Zimmerman and Jeri Ryan as Seven of Nine, a human female once controlled by the Borg Collective.
