Vulture - Homemade rocketship on the adventure SALVAGE-I/ABC/1979. The Vulture was a 33-foot by 10-foot spacecraft built from salvaged NASA rockets and other assorted electronic equipment by Harry Broderick (Andy Griffith) the owner of Jettison Scrap and Salvage Company. His spacecraft actually flew to the lunar surface and salvaged equipment left behind by the Apollo missions. Assisting him was former NASA astronaut, Addison "Skip" Carmichael (Joel Higgins), and rocket propellant expert Melanie Slozar (Trish Stewart) who developed the special propulsion fuel, Monohydrozyne.
