Yankee Doodle Society
- A group of patriotic freedom fighters on the
historical adventure THE YOUNG
REBELS/ABC/1970-71.
Based in the town of Chester, Pennsylvania in
the year 1777, this fictional organization of
young rebels harassed and spied on the British
occupational forces stationed in the Colonies
during the American Revolution.
The Yankee Doodle Society consisted of:
- Jeremy Larkin (Rick Ely), a long-haired
politician's son
- Isak Poole (Lou Gossett, Jr.), an ex-slave
- Henry Abington (Alex Henteloff), a
youthful Ben Franklin lookalike
- Elizabeth Coates (Hilary Thompson),
Jeremy's girlfriend.
Assisting the group was a 20-year-old Frenchman,
General the Marquis
de Lafayette (Philippe Forquet).
