Richard Egan starred as Jim Redigo, the foreman of Garret Ranch, a sprawling half-million acre ranch located in contemporary Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Jim managed the ranch's operations which included horses, cattle, sheep, oil, mining, lumber and a variety of crops.

• Ryan O'Neal as Tal Garret, Connie's son

TRIVIA NOTE: The character of Jim Redigo was resurrected in the series REDIGO/NBC/1963.  On that series, he played Jim Redigo, the owner of the Redigo cattle ranch in Mesa, New Mexico.
