Herman
Munster's Advice - On episode No. 19 "Eddie's Nickname" of the
situation comedy THE MUNSTERS/CBS/1964-66 Eddie Munster (Butch
Patrick) earned the nickname
"Shorty" from his taunting schoolmates.

Sympathetic to his son's plight, Herman Munster (Fred
Gwynne) consoled Eddie, by saying:
"It doesn't matter what you look like. You can be
tall or short, or fat or thin, or ugly or handsome, or you can be
black or yellow or white. It doesn't matter. What does matter is
the size of your heart and the strength of your character."
After listening to Herman, Grandpa Munster (Al
Lewis) commented "You know something Herman?" You're a pretty nice
guy. You're no Norman Vincent Peale. But you're a nice guy."
